In this image by Stephen he has taken a landscape of a mountain range and a house which sits centre of the image. Connotations of this image could represent the feeling of isolation as the house is small and has nothing near by other than a building in the far distance. The bright colours captured in the sky and colour of the house contrast to the isolation and emptiness that could be represented in this image.

Ao3

My idea for landscape was to capture the variety of different sights you can see within forests. With different angles and distances, shapes and textures, time of day and the weather; A forest can look different each time you visit and that is what I want to capture in my photography for landscape, the ways of nature.

AO2Explore and select appropriate resources, media, materials, techniques and processes, reviewing and refining ideas as work develops.

AO1: Develop ideas through sustained and focused investigations informed by contextual and other sources, demonstrating analytical and critical understanding.

The artist research helped me develop my images with the editing as I loved the bright colours that was constant throughout his photographs. I edited my photos to try and capture the variety of colours in the forest and make them stand out and contrast the constant colour of the bark that's throughout the forest.

AO4: Present a personal and meaningful response that realises intentions and, where appropriate, makes connections between visual and other elements.
